Besma loves emotional content. The human stories, the tearjerkers. With roots in journalism and 15 years’ experience as a producer, she’s looking for the next deeply human project.
Over a period of two years, we developed this project from scratch. The briefing itself already proved to be a challenge: help us spread the word about the energy transition, a complex subject, to a wider audience. We created a six-minute, emotion-driven film that the viewer can truly invest time in.
“It’s not impossible.“
Fifteen shooting days around the world, with a wonderful cast, capturing the transition in the making and bringing the true heroes of one of humankind’s greatest achievements to life.

For the Bookcase for Tolerance project we created 4 films with director Ted Alkemade in which we showcased 4 young adults who give us an insight into their lives when it comes to being treated differently and why. Although this was a low-budget project we managed to create these 3-minute films which also represent the framework for the digital experience.
The project was awarded on many levels and we are happy we could participate in these stories and life experiences.
With the help of director Ted Alkemade and music producer Yellowbloom we produced this film for Dura Vermeer in which we follow a day in the lives of 3 people directly influenced by the need for infrastructure. We worked with real Dura Vermeer employees supported by a tight-knit group of filmcrew. This gave us the possibility to capture small human moments within exciting but big industrial environments.
Logistics and infrastructure are often overlooked by the general public and by creating a film with premium cinematographic values, we were able to reach a big audience and grow the following for Dura Vermeer
“Can we please stop asking why, but starting asking who?”
